BOSTON — More than 125 guests attended the launch party to celebrate the release of Boston Globe columnist Scot Lehigh’s first novel, “Just East of Nowhere.” Those at the event, which was held in the University of Massachusetts Club, included party organizers Michael Goldman, Phil Johnston, Tripp Jones, Natasha Perez, Larry Moulter, Frank Phillips and Jan Saragoni. WHITMAN — Local Weymouth author and retired Massachusetts State Police Captain Joe Saccardo had his first book signing for “Capable” at the Patio Restaurant in Whitman on Sunday. Event planner extraordinaire Bryan Rafanelli holds spectacular party to launch his book

BOSTON — Several hundred guests attended a swanky event at the Revere Hotel to join event planner Bryan Rafanelli in celebrating his book “A Great Party: Designing the Perfect Celebration,” which was recently released from Rizzoli. The book’s foreword was written by Chelsea Clinton, whose wedding Rafanelli planned. The event opened with a conversation between Rafanelli and Boston Globe Managing Director Linda Henry.
