DUXBURY — This week’s beautiful weather only added to the success of the Duxbury Council on Aging fundraiser that started with golf at the Duxbury Yacht Club and ended with a raw bar and a live auction at the Duxbury Senior Center. Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan helped the COA raise several thousand dollars in the live auction. COPLEY SQUARE — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation held its 18th annual research grant symposium, which coincided with the Hanover-based organization’s 30th anniversary celebration, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel. KINGSTON — Former NHL star and two-time Stanley Cup winner Kevin Stevens hosted the 2nd annual golf tournament was held at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston. The tournament and dinner was attended by more than 300 people including several NHL and former teammates and friends like Derek Sanderson and Ray Bourque.
