QUINCY — South Shore Conservatory celebrated marked the start of its 50th anniversary celebration at its Chase Away the Winter Blues gala, which was held on January 25, 2020 at the Boston Quincy Marriott. QUINCY — Quincy’s own Uncle Sam Rounseville used the occasion of his 80th birthday to raise money for the Lions Club, specifically the organization’s effort to work with those who are blind or visually impaired. Uncle Sam’s wife Jean Kenney threw the party at Alba’s restaurant. The couple has been using his birthday as a fundraiser for more than a decade. All photos by Bill Brett

QUINCY — 450 guests attended the Harvesting Hope Gala to benefit DOVE, Domestic Violence Ended, which was held on October 25, 2019 at the Boston Marriott Quincy hotel. QUINCY — More than 150 people joined Jamie Fagan and his family to support the Massachusetts Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at Alba restaurant in Quincy. The event raised over $10,000 for continued research.
