QUINCY — As part of a hybrid event that raised more than $500,000 the Cardinal Cushing Centers hosted guests at the Neighborhood Clubhouse in Quincy, where they honored CPA Dolly Di Pesa, who received the Franciscan Leadership Award, and Jean and Fred Raymond, who were given the Richard Cardinal Cushing Award. More than 260 guests experienced a lot of firsts the other night at Marina Bay in Quincy when fashion designer Denise Hajjar hosted a fashion show with the boardwalk serving as the catwalk for the models. The sold-out event was a fundraiser to fund charities that fund and support first responders and those working in healthcare during the Covid-19 pandemic. QUINCY — Quincy’s own Uncle Sam Rounseville used the occasion of his 80th birthday to raise money for the Lions Club, specifically the organization’s effort to work with those who are blind or visually impaired.
