QUINCY — Some 200 guests gathered the other night at Alba Restaurant in Quincy to celebrate the release of Quincy native Joe Keohane’s book, “The Power of Strangers: The Benefits of Connecting in a Suspicious World.” Keohane, a veteran journalist who now lives in New York, has been a writer and editor for several years. QUINCY — More than 100 guests turned out to celebrate baker extraordinaire and all around good guy George Montilio at Alba’s Restaurant in Quincy. QUINCY — The City of Quincy celebrated Flag Day with a colorful parade and a seemingly endless display of the red, white and blue. The annual celebration was started by Quincy Mayor Tom Koch’s father, Richard, 70 years ago and has been the official start to the Summer season in that city.
