BOSTON — More than 350 guests celebrated on May 10, 2019 at The McCourt Foundation’s annual gala at the Boston Harbor Hotel, which raised more than $200,000. At the event, the Braintree-based foundation announced that the McCourt family was converting the for-profit business overseeing the Los Angeles Marathon into a nonprofit organization that will raise money to expand its charitable efforts, which today center on neurological research.
