SEAPORT DISTRICT — 200 guests attended a fundraiser at the Barking Crab to raise money to build a statue in Scituate common to honor US Navy John Connors, who died in a conflict in Panama. The project to honor the late Boston College High School grad is supported by his classmates and fellow Navy Seals. The party was hosted by Tom Cappellitti, Joe Mitchell, John Sheehan, and Kara Dallman. The event also featured a live auction.
