Governor Baker helps recognize Brain Aneurysm Awareness month

BOSTON — Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito were on-hand to help the Hanover-based Brain Aneurysm Foundation raise brain aneurysm awareness at the 3rd annual Massachusetts State House Event and proclaimed September as “Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month” in Massachusetts. Also at Wednesday’s State House event were Foundation co-founders Deidre Buckley and Dr. Christopher Ogilvy along with BAF Executive Director Christine Buckley.

As part of the awareness campaign, several Boston area landmarks were “painted red” including the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge, South Station Boston, City Hall Plaza Government Center, the Boston F. Burns Memorial Bridge, and Longfellow Bridge.
