QUINCY — Some 200 guests gathered the other night at Alba Restaurant in Quincy to celebrate the release of Quincy native Joe Keohane’s book, “The Power of Strangers: The Benefits of Connecting in a Suspicious World.” Keohane, a veteran journalist who now lives in New York, has been a writer and editor for several years. DORCHESTER — St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children hosted a hybrid dinner and online event to raise money and gain support for their programs to benefit women and children. CANTON — More than 750 young dancers performed in the 10th annual New England autumn feis, which was held last weekend at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton.
