DORCHESTER — 450 guests packed Florian Hall to honor Richie Paris on his retirement from the Boston Fire Department. In addition to being a firefighter, Paris served as president of the union Local 718. On hand to celebrate Paris were Ed Kelly, a Boston native who is president of the International Firefighters Union, Mayor Michelle Wu, former fire department commissioners Paul Burke, Joe Finn, and Marty Pierce. QUINCY — 400 guests gathered at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy for the St. Rock Haiti Foundation’s efforts. SEAPORT DISTRICT — More than 300 guests attended the Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst’s annual Awards Dinner.
