SEAPORT — More than $1 million was raised by 2,500 guests who attended the 16th annual “Celebration for Kids” on Dec. 1, which featured food prepared by dozens of Boston’s best chefs, a colossal holiday shopping gallery, silent auction, a live auction, and dancing to the World Premier Band.

Proceeds from the event, which was held at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, go to brightening the lives of at-risk kids during the holiday season and all year long.
