Concussion Legacy Foundation honors Bob Costas at annual gala

BOSTON — More than 300 guests attended the Concussion Legacy Foundation‘s annual gala, which honored sportscaster Bob Costas.

The event, which was held on Nov. 9, 2017 at the Boston Harbor Hotel,supports the mission of the Concussion Legacy Foundation which “believes we all have a responsibility to ensure athletes can reach their full potential on and off the field. We are committed to protecting athletes and families through research, policy, and education.”

Chris Nowinski, the CEO and co-founder of the Foundation, worked with WGBH’s Jim Braude, the evening’s emcee, on the auction, which raised more than $100,000. Also attending were pro wrestler and entrepreneur Triple H (Paul Michael Levesque), The Boston Globe’s Dan Shaughnessy, TV and radio sportscaster Bob Neumeier, and former New England Patriot Ted Johnson.
