COHASSET — 250 guests attended the preview gala for the kickoff weekend of the South Shore Arts Center’s 67th annual Arts Festival preview gala “Breathe Life,” which was held on Cohasset Common. The gala’s special guest was Rob “Problak” Gibbs, the artist behind some of Boston’s most iconic murals including the larger than life Breathe Life series commissioned by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. QUINCY — More than 500 guests attended the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation’s 20th annual gala, which was held at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. The event raised more than $750,000 for the organization’s mission to provide quality health care for the people of Haiti. The 2022 Stephen Bresnahan Award was giving to Brian Concannon. The Boston Arts Academy’s Foundation is one of the first organizations to figure out a way to hold an in-person celebration and they did it with the help of Boston philanthropist and noted performing arts supporter Ernie Boch, President and CEO, Subaru of New England.
