BOSTON — More than 1,800 guests attended the 8th annual Corey Fest hosted by the Corey C. Griffin Foundation that raised $1.8 million for Boston charities that support the guiding principles of the foundation: To improve of primarily Boston-area children through strategic partnerships with the city’s leading educational and healthcare institutions, with an emphasis on faith-based initiatives.
The Corey C. Griffin Foundation is named in memory of Corey, who died in 2014 at age 27. Family and friends formed the foundation to carry on Corey’s philanthropic efforts.
The annual gathering is also one of the city’s best concerts. This year’s event at the House of Blues featured Cole Swindell, Ashley Cooke, and Dylan Marlowe.
