The event was hosted by Foundation President Denella Clark and the honored guests were 2023 Champions: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and former mayor Kim Janey. BOSTON — More than 1,800 guests attended the 8th annual Corey Fest hosted by the Corey C. Griffin Foundation that raised $1.8 million for Boston charities that support the guiding principles of the foundation: To improve of primarily Boston-area children through strategic partnerships with the city’s leading educational and healthcare institutions, with an emphasis on faith-based initiatives. The Corey C. Griffin Foundation is named in memory of Corey, who died in 2014 at age 27.…
FENWAY — 1,000 guests attended the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts annual fundraising event “Big Night: Washed Ashore,” which was held on February 8, 2020 at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street. FENWAY — The 25th annual Banned in Boston political parody and comedy show brought together the usual political figures, business and civic leaders, members of the media and actors to raise money for Urban Improv, Rehearsal for Life.
