Boston Health Care for the Homeless honors Jack Connors; raises $2 million

SOUTH END — More than 450 guests attended the 11th annual “Medicine That Matters” Gala in support of Boston Health Care for the Homeless at the SoWa Power Station in the South End. The gala, which raised $2 million, honored Jack Connors and the RIZE Massachusetts Foundation, the only public-private partnership solely dedicated to funding solutions to end the opioid overdose crisis. The events emcees were WCVB-TV’s (Channel 5) Erika Tarantal and Shayna Seymour.
