I just wanted to take a moment to remember Tom “Red” Martin, who could claim multiple titles including philanthropist and friend to many. Tom died recently and the Boston Globe ran a wonderful obituary, which you can read via this link. He was 79.
Tom was featured in my fifth book, “Boston: Irish.” (My photo is in this post.) From Boston College hockey star to founder of Cramer Productions, Red loomed large on the local stage for many years. He will be missed. — Bill
