MARINA BAY — More than 150 guests turned out to wish Bob Luz well on his retirement as president and CEO of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. The surprise (to Bob, of course) party was held at the Victory Point Restaurant in Marina Bay and was attended by many heavy hitters in Boston’s hospitality scene. Bob led the group for nine years. DUXBURY — B-I-N-G-O was the name of the game as Black Tie Bingo returned to the Duxbury Senior Center after taking a brake because of Covid restrictions. HINGHAM — Guests at the BBQ and Brew Night on Higham Common enjoyed craft beer, delicious food by Tennessee BBQ, and music by the Back Nine Band — all while raising money to support the Hingham Community Center’s courtyard renovation project. BOSTON — Supporters of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation celebrated a special night at the Boston Pops that was hosted by the Foundation’s Executive Director Christine Buckley and board chair Tom Tinlin.
