SCITUATE — 400 guests attended the 3rd annual Recovery Rocks, An Evening of Music and Celebration to benefit South Shore Peer Recovery. The event, which featured DJ Lynch Band, Border Road and James Montgomery, was held at the Bulman Marina in Scituate and raised more than $200,000. WEYMOUTH — My friend Paul Doyle set up a birthday celebration for a young man he knows, Brendan Tevenan, who works at Justice Hardware in Jackson Square in East Weymouth. Brendan, whose actual birthday is Aug. 15, is at the store on Mondays through his participation in the South Shore Support Services program.
