BACK BAY — 50 guests turned out for a surprise party for Father Ron Coyne who is celebrating his 50th anniversary as a priest. The celebration dinner, held at Grill 23 in the Back Bay, was organized by Greg and Terry Clark. WEYMOUTH — Hundreds of motorcyclists answered the call of the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in Weymouth to support Anthony Meizis, a US Navy veteran who died at the age of 80. His only surivivor, a cousin, is disabled and unable to participate in services. Meizis, of Weymouth, served as a seaman in the Vietnam War. BOSTON — More than 200 guests attended the Highgate Boston inaugural Charity Bowl was hosted by Lenny Clarke and held at Kings Boston on Monday, July 31.  The event raised $30,000 to support Highgate’s charitable foundation, which has raised more than $2 million this year to support philanthropic organizations and communities worldwide that address issues related to poverty, education and healthcare.
