DUXBURY — This week’s beautiful weather only added to the success of the Duxbury Council on Aging fundraiser that started with golf at the Duxbury Yacht Club and ended with a raw bar and a live auction at the Duxbury Senior Center.  Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan helped the COA raise several thousand dollars in the live auction. DUXBURY — A field of 140 golfers joined other Council on Aging club members at the Duxbury Senior Center’s golf tournament and fundraiser, which was held at the Duxbury Yatch Club golf course. DUXBURY — The Duxbury Senior Center hosted a golf tournament which was followed by a dinner at the Duxbury Yacht Club that was attended by 200 people who enjoyed lobster rolls and a raw bar donated by Duxbury Oysters. DUXBURY — More than 500 guest celebrated under a large tent on Duxbury Beach on the evening of Saturday, September 7, 2019, to support the Duxbury Beach Reservation, Inc., and mark the centennial of a dozen or so Duxbury residents coming together to buy the beach so that it would be preserved for future generations.
