DORCHESTER –More than 450 guests attended the “Live the Beth Life’ community fundraiser, held in the memory of Bethy Curley of Dorchester, which was held at Florian Hall. The event included a comedy show, silent auction, and dancing. The lineup included Steve Sweeney, Mike Donovan, Paul D’Angelo, and the Fabulous Sullivan Brothers. DUXBURY — The Duxbury Senior Center hosted a golf tournament which was followed by a dinner at the Duxbury Yacht Club that was attended by 200 people who enjoyed lobster rolls and a raw bar donated by Duxbury Oysters. SOUTH BOSTON — More than 300 people were on hand at the M Street Park in South Boston recently to mark the 41st anniversary of the South Boston Vietnam Memorial.
