*UPDATED SOUTH BOSTON — NBC 10 Boston anchor Natasha Verma hosted a fashion show fundraiser on Sept. 10 at Publico restaurant in South Boston to raise money for a foundation she started when she was being treated for cancer last year.
Now in remission, Verma, 24, was treated for stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma last year and has since returned to work on television channel. Since her treatment, she started the Verma Foundation to make “Cap Wigs” to help those who lose their hair during treatment.
Among those attending the event were New England Patriots player Devin McCourty and fashion designer David Josef. You can read more about her story on Boston.com.
