South Boston honors its fallen heroes

SOUTH BOSTON — The fallen heroes, troops who gave their lives in service of the country, were honored at a special service over the weekend at the South Boston Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

The community also honored the life of the late Senator John McCain, a Vietnam veteran who was a prisoner of war for several years.
