SEAPORT — More than 2,500 guests attended the 17th annual Celebration for Kids, which was held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the World Trade Center, Boston. More than $1 million was raised.
The event is the first large celebration for the Rodman charity since founder Don Rodman died in August, 2019.
Among the night’s “entertainment” was thrilling live auction of priceless items that was overseen by celebrity auctioneer — retired Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski.
The night featured cuisine prepared by dozens of Boston’s best chefs, a colossal holiday shopping gallery silent auction, and dancing to the World Premier Band! Proceeds from Celebration for Kids are devoted to brightening the lives of at-risk kids during the holiday season and all year long.
