COPLEY SQUARE — The team working on a permanent Boston memorial for Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. held a reception last night at the Boston Public Library’s Map Room to unveil the designs for the art that will mark King’s history with the city. Among those on hand were Barry Gaither, Rev. Liz Walker, entrepreneur Paul English, and Joyce Linehan, chief of policy for the city of Boston.
The public will now have a chance to comment on the designs. For more, read today’s story in The Boston Globe here.
