QUINCY — More than 100 guests turned out to celebrate baker extraordinaire and all around good guy George Montilio at Alba’s Restaurant in Quincy.
The spectacular eatery was rocking to 1970’s music on Sunday evening for the surprise 70th birthday party, which was hosted by George’s wife, Christine, and daughters, Jenna and Elissa. Many of the guests doned 1970’s attire as you can see in the photos below.
The local wags want to know if they had to get the birthday cake from a local supermarket to keep it all a surprise. But by the looks of the cake in the photos, you can easily tell that it is a Montilio’s Bakery masterpiece.
