South Shore Peer Recovery raises $200K to support work

MARSHFIELD — A sold-out crowd of 300 guests attended South Shore Peer Recovery’s third annual “Recovery Rocks” fundraiser that was held at Salt River Farm on Thursday night in Marshfield. The Scituate-based South Shore Peer Recovery had a full night of events that included music by Border Road, the band Neighbors, and Lisa Jason.

The night raised close to $200,000. Peer Recovery founder John Kimmett addressed the audience saying that all of the money raised would go directly back to South Shore communities to assist women, men and families in recovery. For more information on their programs click here.
