Holiday wreaths placed on graves to remember the service of veterans

HULL — At the stroke of noon on December 16, thousands of wreaths were placed by volunteers at veterans graves in cemeteries across the country. In the Hull Village Cemetery, American Legion Post 140 held a ceremony followed by the laying of 650 wreaths by volunteers from Hull, Notre Dame Academy, Boston College High and Legion members many whom are veterans themselves. The goal is to “remember, honor and teach our children the value of freedom.”
