HULL — 300 people signed up for the Nantasket Polar Plunge that raised $200,000 to support Special Olympics Massachusetts. The (very) cold weather did not dampen the spirit of the day as awards were given for those who came out in full regalia and there was music keeping things lively on the beach. HULL — It was a day of celebration at Hull High School for the graduating class of 2022. It was the school’s 65th annual commencement and the class of 65 included Morgan Hurley, Bill’s granddaughter. HULL — While out for a walk on Saturday, Bill took these images of a some people out on the water off of Nantasket Beach. The water is still pretty warm (compared to the dropping air temperature of late) in the area. And by that, we don’t mean you’d catch us out there, even with wetsuits. ALL PHOTOS BY BILL BRETT

HULL — More than 150 intrepid swimmers took the plunge at Nantasket Beach on Saturday, February 1, 2020, as part of the 25th annual Drowned Hogs swim to benefit the Wellspring Multi-Service Center in Hull. The swim was followed by a Chowder and Soup “Fest” to benefit Wellspring that was held on the Paragon Boardwalk at the beach. All photos by Bill Brett
