SOUTH BOSTON — More than 350 guests attended the Corey C. Griffin Foundation’s Summer Cocktail Party that was held on August 5, 2019 at Coppersmith.

The late Corey Griffin played hockey in college and he worked with a number of hockey players in raising money for charity. The host committee included a who’s who of the NHL world: Brian Boyle (Nashville Predators); Cory Schneider (New Jersey Devils); Chris Wagner (Boston Bruins); Charlie Coyle (Boston Bruins); Ryan Donato (Minnesota Wild); Paul Carey (Boston Bruins); Mark Fayne (Edmonton Oilers); Brian Gibbons (Carolina Hurricanes); Noah Hanifin (Calgary Flames); Kevin Hayes (Philadelphia Flyers); Jimmy Hayes (Pittsburgh Penguins); Jimmy Vesey (Buffalo Sabres); Miles Wood (New Jersey Devils); Steve Greeley (Buffalo Sabres AGM); Evan Rodriguez (Buffalo Sabres); Charlie McAvoy (Boston Bruins); and, Keith Yandle (Florida Panthers).
