Christmas in the City celebrates the children of Boston

BOSTON — 4,000 children were able to celebrate Christmas at the 31st annual Christmas in the City, which was held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

The event’s founders, Jake and Sparky Kennedy, welcomed the families who attended the party that allows families to have a happy Christmas. Through the efforts of the Kennedys and now a vast team of volunteers, the entire day is funded privately and the children enjoy a day of presents and celebration at no cost to them.
