HINGHAM — 200 guests attended the inaugural Catholic Community Fund of Greater Boston golf tournament and fundraising dinner at the Black Rock Country Club, which raised $230,000 to support the efforts of the Archdiocese and various nonprofit organizations in the Boston area.

CCF Chairman Arthur Boyle introduced Cardinal Sean O’Malley, who explained the CCF’s goals. Also in attendance was Bishop Mark O’Connell and several archdiocesean priests. Jim Fagan served as the event’s emcee and auctioneer.
