SOUTH BOSTON — More than 250 guests attended the Catholic Charities Labouré Center’s 38th annual Spring Reception, which was held at the Exchange Conference Center. The guest of honor was Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys and the Claddagh Fund, which were awarded the Labouré Center Jack Shaughnessy Service Award. QUINCY — More than 500 guests attended the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation’s 20th annual gala, which was held at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. HINGHAM — 100 guests attended The Lead Out Foundation’s fundraiser on February 12, 2022 at the Wine Room at Tosca restaurant. The organization offers assistance to those living with Spina Bifida or have had a recent spinal cord injury. The event raised $10,000 that will be given out as grants to be used for medical equipment not covered by insurance and bathroom modifications to allow individuals greater independence.
