MARINA BAY — More than 150 guests turned out to wish Bob Luz well on his retirement as president and CEO of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. The surprise (to Bob, of course) party was held at the Victory Point Restaurant in Marina Bay and was attended by many heavy hitters in Boston’s hospitality scene. Bob led the group for nine years. BOSTON — A crowd of more than 250,000 lined the banks of the Charles River and filled the Esplanade as the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular to the Charles River Esplanade for the first time since 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
