DORCHESTER — 450 guests packed Florian Hall to honor Richie Paris on his retirement from the Boston Fire Department. In addition to being a firefighter, Paris served as president of the union Local 718. On hand to celebrate Paris were Ed Kelly, a Boston native who is president of the International Firefighters Union, Mayor Michelle Wu, former fire department commissioners Paul Burke, Joe Finn, and Marty Pierce.
