QUINCY — 100 guests attended the lunch hosted by the Cashman Family Foundation to support relief efforts for those facing the afteraffects of the earthquake in Haiti. QUINCY — Some 200 guests gathered the other night at Alba Restaurant in Quincy to celebrate the release of Quincy native Joe Keohane’s book, “The Power of Strangers: The Benefits of Connecting in a Suspicious World.” Keohane, a veteran journalist who now lives in New York, has been a writer and editor for several years. On one of his day of travels, Bill Brett filled his tank at the station on Rte. 53 in Weymouth (near St. Albert’s church), which, he noted, pumps the gas for you.
