SOUTH BOSTON — More than 250 guests attended the Catholic Charities Labouré Center’s 38th annual Spring Reception, which was held at the Exchange Conference Center. The guest of honor was Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys and the Claddagh Fund, which were awarded the Labouré Center Jack Shaughnessy Service Award. DORCHESTER — It was a packed house at Boston College High School when the announcement was made that the Cadigan Family Foundation will be donating $49 million to build a wellness facility at the all-male school on Morrissey Boulevard.
