PARK SQUARE — More than 350 guests attended the Whittier Street Health Center’s Roast of David Long, executive chairman of the board, Liberty Mutual Insurance. A benefit to the Roxbury-based health center, the roast was done by Joseph Nolan, Frank Doyle, Timothy Sweeney, and Steve Long. COLUMBIA POINT — The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate hosted 200 guests for the opening reception of the 28th annual Experience America gathering, which was held in Boston.
