DUXBURY — The Duxbury Senior Center hosted a golf tournament which was followed by a dinner at the Duxbury Yacht Club that was attended by 200 people who enjoyed lobster rolls and a raw bar donated by Duxbury Oysters. The evening capped with an auction emceed by Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan. The money raised will support programs and elder services for Duxbury residents. All photos by Bill Brett

MARSHFIELD — More than 250 guests attended A Celebration of Recovery, the 6th annual Recovery Rocks, to benefit South Shore Peer Recovery, which helps families and clients. The event, which featured music, food trucks and stories of hope, was held at Salt River Farm in Marshfield. More than $150,000 was raised and the event auctioneer was Jim Fagan. CANTON — More 300 guests were treated to a night of dancers from the Harney Academy of Irish Dance of Walpole and main event Bridges Beyond Boxing Celtic Clash Belfast against Boston. DORCHESTER — Photographer Bill Brett, the author of six books about his beloved hometown Boston and its people, has announced that for his next project he will make portraits of Boston area veterans, those in the military, and those who support them.
