DORCHESTER — 200 guests gathered at Florian Hall in Dorchester to raise money and support for PAWS New England, which rescues “abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high-kill shelters and desperate situations, provide them with veterinary care and much needed TLC, and bring them to New England where we place them in safe, loving homes.” The event was hosted by attorney Kristin Thurbide from the law firm KMT of Marshfield. PLYMOUTH — More than 250 golfers turned out on August 17, 2023, for the inaugural Building Trades Employers’ Association (BTEA) Northeast golf tournament to benefit the Thomas J. Gunning Fund. BACK BAY — 50 guests turned out for a surprise party for Father Ron Coyne who is celebrating his 50th anniversary as a priest.
