HINGHAM — Jay and Jodi Tolman and their “telethon team” hosted the 43rd annual fundraising event in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The event started in Jay’s mother’s Hingham backyard and raised $50. On Labor Day 2019, the telethon ran for several hours at the Congregation Sha’aray Shalom. All photos by Bill Brett
HINGHAM — More than 700 guests attended the 25th annual FoodFest benefit for Father Bill’s and MainSpring at the Hingham Shipyard. The event, held on July 30, 2019, featured dishes from South Shore restaurants and raised more than $350,000 to help fight homelessness in the area — including the construction of 10 houses in Randolph for homeless veterans. HINGHAM — 175 golfers took to the courses for the annual Golf Tournament and Auction to support of IMPACT Melanoma’s educational, support and advocacy programs.
