HINGHAM — More than $1,200 was raised through a book sale that Bill Brett arranged with Hennessy News at 118 North St., Hingham, to benefit the Hingham Interfaith Food Pantry, which is located at St. John the Evangelist Church, 685 Main St. It started like so many stories during this time of shutdowns, social distancing, and many cancelled events. HINGHAM — A couple dozen customers of Ellen Landers, who opened the Atlantic Bagel & Coffee shop in Hingham every morning for more than 20 years, out to dinner to celebrate Landers’ retirement. Lucca’s in Rockland Landers was joined by her daughter Jamie at the night out at Lucca’s in Rockland. Landers arrived at 3:30 in the morning to get ready for the daily rush of customers. HINGHAM — It was a packed house at the Hingham Heritage Museum when historian David McCullough hosted our own Bill Brett to celebrate the publication of Bill’s sixth book, “Boston: Game Changers.” The event was held on Sunday, December 8, 2019.
