IMPACT Melanoma holds annual Golf Tournament and Auction

HINGHAM — 175 golfers took to the courses for the annual Golf Tournament and Auction to support of IMPACT Melanoma’s educational, support and advocacy programs. The golf tourney raised $250,000 and was held at both Boston Golf and the Black Rock Country Club on Monday, June 3, 2019.

IMPACT Melanoma holds the golf tournaments because the risk of melanoma is high for golfers who spend hours out on the golf course unprotected, especially for men age 50 and older. Early detection and prevention are key in reducing the risks of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.
