SOUTH BOSTON — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research in brain aneurysms and helping those affected by the condition, was (finally) able to hold the 20th annual Arterial Challenge, which took place at Castle Island in South Boston recently. HINGHAM — 150 golfers turned out recently for the 19th annual Golf Tournament to support St. John’s Seminary. The event, which raised more than $300,000, was held at Black Rock Country Club in Hingham. All photos are by Bill Brett
QUINCY — 100 guests attended the lunch hosted by the Cashman Family Foundation to support relief efforts for those facing the afteraffects of the earthquake in Haiti. Jay Cashman and Boston Cardinal Sean O’Malley were among those who attended the luncheon, which was held at Victory Point Restaurant in Marina Bay, Quincy. CANTON — More than 750 young dancers performed in the 10th annual New England autumn feis, which was held last weekend at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton.
