MARSHFIELD — A sold-out crowd of 300 guests attended South Shore Peer Recovery’s third annual “Recovery Rocks” fundraiser that was held at Salt River Farm on Thursday night in Marshfield. The Scituate-based South Shore Peer Recovery had a full night of events that included music by Border Road, the band Neighbors, and Lisa Jason. The night raised close to $200,000. DORCHESTER — More than 300 guests turned out for a send-off event at Florian Hall in Dorchester for “Paulie’s Push to Honor and Remember,” a fundraiser in which Paul Veneto, a retired United Airlines flight attendant, will push an airline beverage cart more than 200 miles. MARSHFIELD — 500 guests attended a (modified) Corey Fest, which raised more than $800,000 for the Corey C. Griffin Foundation to support youth and service charities. To keep within state Covid-19 guidelines and to ensure safety of guests, Corey Fest was held at the Marshfield Drive-In with event goers staying in their cars.
