DUXBURY — This week’s beautiful weather only added to the success of the Duxbury Council on Aging fundraiser that started with golf at the Duxbury Yacht Club and ended with a raw bar and a live auction at the Duxbury Senior Center. Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan helped the COA raise several thousand dollars in the live auction. COPLEY SQUARE — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation held its 18th annual research grant symposium, which coincided with the Hanover-based organization’s 30th anniversary celebration, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel. HINGHAM — More than 120 family, friends and fans packed the Hingham Community Center for this year’s annual fundraiser to support Hingham High School’s varsity women’s hockey program. CHARLESTOWN — More than 100 guests attended the Residence Inn on Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf Grand Relaunch event on Thursday, Sept. 5.
