SOUTH BOSTON — 500 guests attended the Gavin Foundation’s annual Road to Recovery gala, which was held at the Boston Design Center. Among those in attendance were the Foundation’s “Man of the Year” from 2017 Gov. DORCHESTER — Hundreds turned out as a new granite memorial to honor the lives of two Dorchester police officers was dedicated on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pope John Paul II Park in Neponset. BOSTON — 300 guests attended The Friends of the Public Garden’s Green and White Ball, which raised $625,000 for the care of the Boston Common, Public Garden and Commonwealth Mall.
