May 4, 2020: Bill was so ready to photograph a Kentucky Derby party, but because of covid-19 spring events have been cancelled or postponed. So, we’re re-posting Bill’s photos from two events two years ago at Society on High and Serefina.
FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Bill Brett stopped by two parties, both on High Street, where hundreds had gathered to watch the Kentucky Derby on May 5, 2018.
First stop was at Society on High, 99 High St., which featured a mint julep muddling station and loads of Stella Artois Cidre, and a silent auction to benefit the Great American Foundation.
And then Bill was off to Serafina, 10 High St., for the annual Down & Derby Party that featured a performance by Louie Bello and Joe Posa as Joan Rivers. Also, there was a hat competition. The money raised at this party will benefit Love Life Now Foundation.
