BOSTON — Several hundred guests attended a swanky event at the Revere Hotel to join event planner Bryan Rafanelli in celebrating his book “A Great Party: Designing the Perfect Celebration,” which was recently released from Rizzoli. The book’s foreword was written by Chelsea Clinton, whose wedding Rafanelli planned. The event opened with a conversation between Rafanelli and Boston Globe Managing Director Linda Henry. BACK BAY FENS — 500 of Boston’s best dressed guests braved the teeming rain to attend Mayor Marty Walsh’s annual party held in a tent at the Kelleher Rose Garden, part of Olmsted’s Emerald Necklace, in the Back Bay Fens.
